FROM BERLIN TO STUTTGART
Coucou, je suis rentré de mon petit tour en Allemagne. J’étais à Pictoplasma pour la présentation de la Gaîté Lyrique et des Pirates. Le festival comme à l’accoutumé était parfait, pleins de gens intéressants, des rencontres, des films, des repas à n’en plus finir,etc… Bref vivement l’année prochaine, à Paris peut être ;-) Je suis ensuite allé à Stuttgart à la “Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste”, afin de réaliser un workshop avec des étudiants pendant 3 jours, cette expérience à été très enrichissante car la plupart n’avaient jamais fait d’animation auparavant, j’ai été très agréablement surpris du résultat dans un temps si court. Voici leur réalisation
Hi, I’m back from my German trip. I was at Pictoplasma to present the Gaîté Lyrique and the Pirates projects. The festival was as usually perfect, nice people, nice films, nice diners, nice meetings,etc… Well I’m now waiting for the next one, perhaps in Paris ;-) Then I went to Stuttgart to animate a workshop at the “Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste”, a very nice school with great teachers and students to make a workshop during 3 days, it was very nice to work with students that never really animated before, they did a great job in such a short time. Here is the result

Bon Pictoplasma approche à grand pas, plus qu’un mois, je veux juste vous rappeler que c’est le meilleur festival au monde et que je vais y aller comme chaque année avec la Hornet Family ;-). Vous pourrez y voir sur grand écran 2 de mes films: PIRATES!!! The curse of the evil eye et surtout l’avant première du film pour la Gaîté Lyrique dont la mise en ligne est imminente ;-) Venez, Venez, Venez…
Pictoplasma is starting soon, just to remind you it’s the best festival ever. I will be there with the Hornet Family to enjoy the festival ;-). You will be able to see 2 of my films on big screen: PIRATES!!! The curse of the evil eye and also the première of the film I did for la Gaîté Lyrique ;-) You should really come….

GREAT
Je suis trop fainéant pour vous faire un résumé de Pictoplasma NY, donc je dirais seulement que c’était génial, plein de gens sympas, des belles fêtes, de beaux films, de belles présentations. J’étais aussi heureux de revoir tout mes amis : Peter, Lars, Anna, David, Sam, Philip, Fons, Motomochi, Oishi, etc… Bref je ne peux pas tous les nommer, donc je vais finir en vous donnant le lien vers les photos de Pictoplasma pour vous montrer à quoi ça ressemble. I ‘m to lazy to make a little resume of Pictoplasma NY, so I just gona say it was great lot of fun, nice people, nice parties, nice screenings, nice lectures. It was great to see all my friends again: Peter, Lars, Anna, David, Sam, Philip, Fons, Motomochi, Oishi, etc… I can’t name them all so I just give you link to pictoplasma picks to see how great it was. BERLIN, NEW YORK, ARGENTINA…
Je sais, je sais je néglige mon site, j’ai pas écris depuis longtemps, mais je suis un peu occupé ces temps ci, mais promis bientôt du neuf… En attendant un peu de pub pour mon festival préféré, VIVA PICTOPLASMA. Bon tout ça pour dire qu’en septembre ça sera à NYC et j’ai la chance d’avoir 3 films au programme (Zune, Kotori, Dandelions) Je ne saurais que vous conseiller d’y aller, cette année il y aura du beau monde: Tim Biskup, Friends with you, Gangpol & Mit, Motomichi Nakamura, Akinori Oishi, David Oreilly, Fons Schiedon, Aaron Stewart, Studio Aka, Tokyoplastic et j’en passe…

Yes, Yes, I know I didn’t right anything since long, because I’m busy. Don’t worry soon you gona see new things, be patient… For the time being, a big up to my favourite festival, VIVA PICTOPLASMA, this year it takes place in NYC & I’m lucky to have 3 films selected (Zune, Kotori, Dandelions) , I can just advise you to come, there will be nice people :Tim Biskup, Friends with you, Gangpol & Mit, Motomichi Nakamura, Akinori Oishi, David Oreilly, Fons Schiedon, Aaron Stewart, Studio Aka, Tokyoplastic et j’en passe...

PICTOPLASMA
Juste un petit mot pour dire que je pars ce week-end à Berlin à Pictoplasma, de loin mon festival préféré. De plus Passion et Hornet seront de la fête, un beau week-end en perspective. Un petit résumé à mon retour.

La deuxième édition de : « Pictoplasma conference on contemporary character design and art » va bientôt commencer. Point de ralliement de toute la communauté des amoureux des Characters. Il s’agit d’un Festival atypique dont le mot d’ordre est passion. « Éclats de suie » a d’ailleurs été sélectionné pour les screenings « characters in motion » du festival.

ÉCLATS DE SUIE – ONEDOTZERO_10
Le festival Onedotzero pour son dixième anniversaire a sélectionné notre court métrage « Éclats de suie » dans la catégorie « Face Value 06 ». Il sera donc programmé à l’ICA de Londres (Institute of Contemporary Arts) du 2 au 11 juin, puis à travers le monde. Plongez vous dans 10 ans d’aventures motion design.
The Onedotzero festival has selected our short film « Eclats de suie »(Soot giant) for the 10th annual festival, in the « Face Value 06 » program. You will be able to see it at the ICA in London, from June 2nd to June 11th, before a world tour. Join us for ten years of adventures in moving images.
