Pour bien commencer la semaine,  le film « The bear and the hare » a reçu un AICP award dans la catégorie Animation. Fier de nos deux compères ;-)

To start the week with great news, The bear and the hare just won an AICP award in animation category. Very proud of our two little fellows. ;-)

It all begins with sunshine and grains

POP-UP BOOK

Voilà un petit nouveau, sorti de la nouvelle campagne Kellogg’s. Un film entièrement réalisé en pop-up. Cela a été un vrai challenge de travailler avec cette technique traditionnelle en papier et ses complexes mécanismes d ouverture et d’animation. Autre chalenge de taille tout le film est animé à l’envers.  Afin de m’aider dans cette tâche je me suis pour l’occasion entouré de 2 talents : David Hawcock (Ingénieur papier / pop-up ) & Mandy Smith ( Illustratrice Papier). Bien plus sous peu….

Here is the last one, just fresh from the new Kellogg’s campaign. A film totally made with the Pop-up book technique. We worked with ambitious papercraft constructions handmade  and all animations are done in camera with intricate moving parts and characters, this was a technical feat to a high magnitude. Other big challenge was to shoot everything backward. To pull it off, I collaborated with talented pop-up book engineer David Hawcock and paper-craft artist Mandy Smith. More to come soon… ;-)
