Je viens juste de finir ma contribution à l’exposition Pictoplasma 2015. Voici un « Cæruleum Apterygidae Sauria« , (65 millions d’années avant Pictopia). Il s’agit surement du seul spécimen connu à ce jour. Si vous souhaitez le voir de vos propres yeux, rendez vous fin Avril à Berlin.

I Just finished my Pictoplasma 2015 exhibition contribution. Here is a « Cæruleum Apterygidae Sauria« , (65 Millions years before Pictopia) Might be the only specimen, since he is extinct.  If you want to see him, come to Berlin end of April at Pictoplasma.

ONLY NICE PEOPLE

Certains m’ont demandé qui avait réalisé l’affiche de l’exposition Motion Factory, et bien il s’agit du talentueux Kyle Bean ( dont je vous avais parlé précédemment). Puisque que je vous parle d’artistes qui ont créé des pièces à l’occasion de l’exposition, je vais aussi vous présenter l’incroyable duo polonais Kijek & Adamski qui ont créés  » Trace » une partie de tennis interminable de 21m de long en stop-motion. Mes amis du 5.5 Design Studio qui ont designé cette magnifique scénographie colorée et enfin Fanette Mellier qui à mis en page notre Livre / Catalogue d’exposition. Bref que des gens talentueux :-)

Some of you asked me who did the poster of Motion Factory, well the answer is the super talented Kyle Bean (I already talked about him in a previous post). While I’m talking about artists I got involved creating stuff for this crazy project: I will also introduce the amazing polish Duo Kijek & Adamski who created « trace » an never ending tennis game  21m long in  stop motion .  My friends from 5.5 design Studio built this playful scenography and last but not least Fanette Mellier who designed our exhibition book / catalogue. Only talentd people here :-)

WHO WANTS A GLASS CUBE?

Bonjour, voilà une très bonne news, j’ai reçu il y a quelques jours un ADC Young Guns Award à New York, je suis super honoré de recevoir ce prix. Cette année Hornet à fait une très bonne moisson, puisqu’on a été honoré 3 fois: Mixtape Club, PetPunk et moi même. Pour être Young Gun il faut avoir moins de 30 ans (ouf c t juste), avec au moins deux ans d’expérience professionnelle dans son domaine et bien sûr être créatif, innovant et inspiré . Comme le dit le site de l’ADC « ADC Young Guns® honors the vanguard of creative professionals who let loose their imaginations, shattering conventions and breaking boundaries with a dash of brilliance and personal flair. » J’espère que je mérite tous ces éloges ;-) et SD à Pimpanicaille

Hi, I just received 2 days ago an  ADC Young Guns Award in New York, I’m very honoured to receive this price. It was a very good year for Hornet, because three of its directing teams were selected as winners of the ADC Young Guns 7 award. Mixtape Club, PetPunk and myself were chosen, from entries submitted from over 84 countries, as innovators in their field. To be a Young Gun you have to be under the age of thirty, with at least two years of work experience in the field, and of course, create stunning, inspirational work. As ADC’s website says, « ADC Young Guns® honours the vanguard of creative professionals who let loose their imaginations, shattering conventions and breaking boundaries with a dash of brilliance and personal flair. » hope I deserve this compliments ;-) & special thanks to Pimpanicaille

Bonjour, petit post pour donner signe de vie, juste pour dire que je travaille sur plusieurs projets en ce moment : Les pirates avancent bien , un court métrage en préparation avec Hornet et un projet secret pour le début de l’année. Bref vous aurez bientôt plein de choses à regarder…

Bon voici un nouveau petit bébé qui vient de naitre, Digup est un projet éditorial indépendant, une revue documentaire en vidéo HD. La création numérique invente de nouveaux langages graphiques, audiovisuels et interactifs. Elle change notre manière de voir le monde. Digup va à la rencontre des talents, entre dans les studios et décrypte les démarches créatives. Digup est emmené par une équipe de designers interactifs et de documentaristes français. Faisant partie de la rédaction pour l’instant et plus si affinités ;-), je me devais de vous en parler et tirer un grand chapeau à l’équipe qui a fait un gros boulot pour que ce projet voit le jour. A new baby is born, Digup is an independent editorial project, a video documented review. Digital production creates new graphic, audio-visual and interactivity languages. It alters the way we see the world. Digup•tv goes and meet talents, enters studios and deciphers creation processes. Digup is taken forward by a team of interaction designers and French documentary makers. Being part of the redaction and more in the futur I had to present you this project and make a big up to the crew. Crash

READY TO WORK…

Bon je suis un peu silencieux suite au crash de mon ordinateur il y a quelques semaines. J’ai eut peur d’avoir perdu beaucoup de choses, heureusement pour moi ce n’était que la carte mère qui était morte et non pas le disque dur. Bref dans mon malheur j’ai adopté un nouveau MacBook pro qui m’a permis de reprendre les pirates et les autres projets en cours. Bientôt du neuf ;-)

Sorry I’m quite on my blog, because I crashed my computer few weeks ago. I was afraid because I thought I lost everything but it was only a mother board porbleme
and nothing was destroyed on the hard disk. In this misfortune, I bought a brand new Macbook pro to help me on pirates and the other projects. New things soon

TOTORO, TOTORO…

SAVE TOTORO FOREST

Bon vous connaissez mon amour pour la nature et surtout Totoro, donc je ne pouvais que vous parler de ce projet dans le but de sauver la forêt de Totoro. Le « Totoro Forest Project » est un projet caritatif international dans le but de sauver la forêt de Sayama, connu sous le nom de forêt de Totoro. Ce sanctuaire en dehors de Tokyo a été le lieux d’inspiration du fameux personnage de Hayao Miyazaki. 200 illustrateurs internationaux (animateurs, illustrateurs, réalisateurs, etc…) ont donc participé au projet en créant des oeuvres pour l’occasion. N’hésitez donc pas à faire un tour sur le site et par la même occasion faire un petit geste.

You know how much I love nature & especialy « Totoro », so I could not talk about this great project to save Totoro forest.Totoro Forest Project is an international charity effort to save Sayama Forest, also known as totoro forest. This endangered sanctuary on the outskirts of Tokyo is where Director Hayao Miyazaki got the inspiration for his much loved character « Totoro » Over 200 international artists from illustration, animation, comics, etc… are donating artwork especially created for the cause. So don’t hesitate to go on the website and please consider supporting the totoro Forest Project with your generous contribution.

Je sais, je sais je néglige mon site, j’ai pas écris depuis longtemps, mais je suis un peu occupé ces temps ci, mais promis bientôt du neuf… En attendant un peu de pub pour mon festival préféré, VIVA PICTOPLASMA. Bon tout ça pour dire qu’en septembre ça sera à NYC et  j’ai la chance d’avoir 3 films au programme (Zune, Kotori, Dandelions) Je ne saurais que vous conseiller d’y aller, cette année il y aura du beau monde: Tim Biskup, Friends with you, Gangpol & Mit, Motomichi Nakamura, Akinori Oishi, David Oreilly, Fons Schiedon, Aaron Stewart, Studio Aka, Tokyoplastic et j’en passe…
